The machinery of Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren is comprehensive.

An established household name for nearly a century

For centuries, piles have been driven in the Netherlands to give buildings and infrastructural structures a stable foundation. The installation of precast concrete piles and tubular steel piles is a specialism and requires craftsmanship. Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren has understood that craftsmanship for more than ninety (!) years. The family business contributes to the most diverse projects and is also able to perform well on sites with space limitations.

Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren is a close-knit family business with now the third generation at the helm. "Piling is our core business. Over the years we have become a reliable partner in the foundation sector. Whether it involves driving many thousands of piles with several machines simultaneously or driving in a tight environment with, for example, a height restriction, we do not shy away from a challenge. Our great strength lies in the flexibility we offer. We are always ready for our customers and guarantee a high-quality end result."

Wide range of machinery

The machinery at Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren is comprehensive. "For traditional piling jobs, we have piling rigs ranging from a 3-ton to 9-ton pile driver that we move with our own low-loaders. So we are not dependent on third parties and completely self-sufficient. In situations where it is not possible or desirable to drive up with a heavy machine, we can use one of our mini-piling rigs. The wide range of machinery means that we can provide a solution for almost any foundation problem in the piling world. We also have a cracker to cut concrete piles after installation. A job that must be done carefully so that the reinforcement of the pile can form a solid whole with the reinforcement of the foundation."

Al bijna een eeuw een geheid begrip 1
Over a period of several years, Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren is working in phases on the foundations of several portals consisting of piles 32/32 through 40/40 around the Ring of Groningen.

Green future

In more than ninety years, Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren has built up a huge portfolio. A good example is the driven foundation consisting of more than 10,000 concrete piles for a large solar park that provides almost 16,000 households with electricity. The heads of the piles could not deviate from each other by more than 5 centimeters, even though the piles protrude 4 meters above ground level. Talk about craftsmanship, it is a requirement for a project around the Ring of Groningen. Over a period of several years, Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren is working in phases on the foundations of various portals consisting of piles 32/32 through 40/40. Almost all work takes place in the evening and night during road closures. "As a family business, we are able to respond flexibly to this as well," he said.

Whether it's piling foundations with thousands of piles for large infrastructure works and huge commercial buildings or a small project with just a few piles, at Hei- en Waterwerken H. van Dieren you've come to the right place. And guaranteed of the highest quality.
