Ecocem, a leading provider of scalable technologies for CO2-poor cement, is definitely setting foot in the united states. First by building a plant and storage facility at the Port of Los Angeles. In addition, Ecocem is appointing Mike Donovan as technical director for the U.S. Donovan, a recognized expert in the U.S. cement industry, will play a key role in successfully introducing Ecocem's innovative technology to the U.S. market.

The U.S. government is making huge investments in climate action and sustainability, most recently with the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund. With Donovan's expertise and Ecocem's advanced cement technology, the adoption of CO2-poor cement get the acceleration it needs, and help make the U.S. cement industry more sustainable. The goal is to generate the same impact in the U.S. as in Europe. This is important because developments in the U.S. market have great influence on the development and implementation of cement technology worldwide.

Donovan and Ecocem are jointly working to scale the North American market for CO2-poor cement. Donovan is confident that he can continue the pioneering role Ecocem has in Europe in the US. Particularly since Ecocem's solutions are already available, can be scaled up cost-effectively and meet the requirements of the U.S. industry.
