Temporary deposits, whether or not completely in your own corporate style

Bouwhekken Nederland is working hard, both literally and figuratively. The specialist in temporary fencing not only has an enormous stock, but is also working on considerably widening its range, whether or not entirely in the infrastructure contractor's own house style. This is with a view to the safety of people and equipment. Bouwhekken Nederland supplied a semi-permanent solution for fencing off the BAM Infra Nederland building site on the N395, which has already withstood many a windstorm. 

Bouwhekken Nederland, as with several other infrastructure contractors, also has a project-based cooperation agreement with BAM Infra Nederland. "We mainly distinguish ourselves in the total picture," says Jornd van der Heide of Bouwhekken Nederland. "We supply everything in the field of temporary and semi-permanent fencing, including all accessories and fittings. In doing so, we excel in speed. In principle, a contractor has a quote within 2 hours. If necessary, the products are delivered the next day, even a rush delivery the same day is possible. Thanks to our huge stock of at least a few hundred pieces per type of fencing."

Semipermanent solution

BAM Infra Netherlands is a large organization with several branches spread across the country, Van der Heide acknowledges. "All those branches do know how to find us. So does BAM Infra Region South, which is currently working on the reconstruction of the N395. Unlike the usual (low) barriers in the infrastructure sector, a barrier of 'construction fence' size was requested for this project: 2 meters high and 3.50 meters wide. A fence that is also semi-permanent. The construction fences do not rest on plastic blocks or concrete bases, but are attached via special secure couplings to scaffold tube poles pneumatically inserted into the ground. BAM attaches great importance to reliability and durability. Such structures can take a beating and remain upright even in a gust of wind. The recent 'triplet storm' was therefore weathered without any problems."

Total supplier

Bouwhekken Nederland delivered exactly one hundred construction fences for the N395. "BAM purchased the fences from us. At the end of the project they are removed, stored or deployed directly on another project. It is also our core business. We are mainly a supplier, but also rent them out regularly," Van der Heide continues. "If requested, we can also take care of the assembly, as well as camera security. For this we work together with a number of renowned subcontractors. To complete the picture, we also design and supply banners if required. We have a specific template for each type of fence so that a perfect look is guaranteed. We are also constantly expanding our range to include other temporary barriers, such as barriers, traffic cones and guidance beacons. So we are truly a total supplier in the field of temporary barriers."
