With over fifteen years of experience in managing traffic during road works, events and calamities, Zwambag Verkeerstechniek is undisputedly a specialist in temporary traffic measures. "Our services go beyond simply placing text signs, traffic control installations or deploying traffic controllers," says director Alen Abrahamian. "We unburden our clients from A to Z."
There is no shortage of clients. Zwambag Verkeerstechniek works nationwide for almost all known infra-contractors in our country. "With a professional and flexible team, we can hold our own with the big boys of this world," Abrahamian says proudly. "Our lines of communication are short. The latter is perhaps our greatest asset. We often hear back from our clients that we are able to take action in a very short period of time. The word 'no' is not in our dictionary. That is appreciated. Our motto is therefore to completely relieve clients of their worries with temporary traffic measures for optimal traffic flow and safety of road workers and users."
Zwambag Verkeerstechniek was founded over fifteen years ago by Theo Zwambag and now Alen Abrahamian is in daily charge as owner. "We are broadly skilled in traffic engineering and have, among other things, an engineering department for design and consultancy with our own traffic experts.
Complete traffic plans are designed and developed in consultation with our clients. A good traffic plan is the basis for every project. On this basis we determine which temporary traffic measures are required, of course in full compliance with the CROW 96A and B guidelines. The engineering department has experience with the most diverse situations on national roads, provincial roads, municipal roads and events. Naturally, we also have the knowledge and expertise to make the permit application process as smooth as possible and to obtain permits as quickly as possible."
In addition to the "administrative processes," Zwambag Verkeerstechniek is uniquely capable of expertly setting up the situation on site. "We have a large stock of signs, collision absorbers, barriers, temporary traffic control installations (VRI) and drop-off materials in all shapes and sizes," says Abrahamian. "Because we are centrally located in the country - the depot is in Lexmond - we are quickly on site in many cases. By deploying experienced employees, we guarantee professional and safe execution of the work and excellent service. In addition, our clients can count on competent and representative professional traffic controllers who ensure the safety of road users and workers on the work sites in all situations. Naturally, we also meet all legal requirements when it comes to proper training and diplomas, company vehicles, work clothing and communication equipment. Finally, we also have an emergency service, a helpline for infrastructure contractors that is available 24/7."
Thinking along with our clients and arriving together at the most optimal temporary traffic plan is right up our alley, Abrahamian sums up. "Not infrequently, we act as advisors in traffic engineering for many renowned clients and governments. We are also closely involved in tenders, mainly because we are able to think 'out of the box.' This is how we try to be distinctive with an eye for the environment. We would also like to convey this message to visitors to the Infra Relatiedagen 2022. Feel free to drop by at stand number 680. See you soon."
