From father Chris to daughter Lisette

Founder Chris van Wylick transferred the company Van Wylick Wegdek-reflectors BV to one of his four children, namely daughter Lisette van Wylick. 'As an entrepreneur it is of course the best when one of your children takes over the family business, Lisette has been working in the company since 2015 and has found her passion here. She will continue the flexibility, honesty and quality of the company', says former director Chris van Wylick.

History

The company from Sint-Michielsgestel has existed since 1993 and introduced the glass globe reflector to the Dutch and Belgian infra market. Chris van Wylick believed in the potential of the glass bulb reflector and developed the company into the market leader of the Netherlands and Belgium. He has been involved from the drawing board to the field. A special machine was even built that achieves an assembly production of more than 500 glass bulb reflectors per day.

Future

So while glass bulb reflectors are anything but new, their application is gaining traction. Among other things, in the context of CO² reduction and dimming or switching off public lighting. 'Glass bulb reflectors offer a solution that is as simple as it is efficient to increase traffic safety in a sustainable way. That is the beauty of our product. In addition, we can draw on thirty years of experience. Together this provides a perfect basis for expanding our activities and thus increasing the scale of our impact.
