Duurzaamheid langs het spoor met een hybride hoogwerker

Construction equipment is becoming increasingly "greener. For example, Railcare has included the so-called EcoRailer in its range, a hybrid aerial work platform that 100% operates electrically, but can also be used in combination with the internal combustion engine.

Railcare richt zich op de verhuur en ontwikkeling van spoorgebonden machines zoals hoogwerkers, kranen, roterende verreikers en tegenwoordig ook de hybride EcoRailers. Omdat zij spoorgebonden werkzaamheden faciliteren is Railcare 24/7 beschikbaar. De machines vervoeren de personen van hoog naar laag en van A naar B. Ook worden met de machines goederen vervoerd en werkzaamheden verricht, zoals bijvoorbeeld het ontroesten van het spoor met de RailHog. Railcare werkt onder meer voor de door ProRail erkende spooraannemers. Het materieel kan onbemand, maar ook bemand worden verhuurd.

EcoRailer

The "green" EcoRailer is an aerial work platform for performing work at height quickly and easily. It is a machine that can be used anywhere on the track and performs excellently in tunnels, among other places, thanks to the fact that the EcoRailer 100% can work electrically and thus produces no exhaust fumes. It is an environmentally friendly and noiseless machine. In tenders, this can be an additional plus for awarding a contract. It is cost-effective and easy to operate. The EcoRailer is suitable for regular Prorail track, as well as local streetcar track and also has permission for Infrabel track (Belgium), among others.

The new EcoRailer is a great addition to Railcare's rental fleet, which has already been deployed in many rail-related projects such as the Betuweroute, the HSL line, the North/South line, as well as the new construction of stations in Utrecht and Rotterdam, among others.
