Joosten continues to build brand

Supplier for the GWW and green industry, Joosten Plastics and its five sister companies Joosten Concepts, Joosten Ecodak, Joosten Production & Welding Technology, Joosten International and Joosten Refoam, communicate henceforth under the name Joosten Group.

"Internally we always worked as one team," says co-owner Raymond Brouwer, "but in the market it was not always clear who does what and how broad the field of work of all Joosten companies together is."

Because work areas, products, knowledge and customers of the companies overlap, Joosten, with a new recognizable corporate identity, shows that it is one club.

The group consists of specialists that ground, road and hydraulic engineering contractors and green space specialists can turn to for everything related to infrastructure, water management and green space in the city. "It is precisely the interfaces that make it so interesting," Brouwer continues. "We connect a green roof at height with a growth site at street level, ensure that excess rainwater infiltrates into the soil and supply geosynthetics for the foundation of the road that lies alongside the growth site."

Joosten Group advises, provides design, delivers from its own stock or directly from the factory, is a mass producer but also a specialist in customization and even mediates application.

The new set-up also provides room for future expansion, which began with the acquisition of Jan Heuvelmans. Brewer emphasizes that with the new name, the service customers are used to will not change. "We will of course remain just Joosten."

History

In 1991, the Joosten brothers started the family business Joosten Kunststoffen in Gendt. Over the years, the company expanded with branches in Delft, Beverwijk and Goes. In early 2016, the familiar Gendt home base was exchanged for a new building in Bemmel. With 48,000m3 of warehouse space, 16,000m2 of outdoor area and 700m2 of office space, this is the new central logistics center for all branches.

Joosten has developed from price fighter to knowledge source and the one-stop-shop for the GWW and green industry. Strategic partnerships have been entered into over the years with renowned suppliers and manufacturers. In addition to pipe systems and geotextiles, new markets have been explored. From this, Joosten Production and Welding Technology, Joosten Ecodak, Joosten Concepts and Joosten International were created. Since January 2022, Jan Heuvelmans bv has also belonged to the Joosten family.

As of January 2023, Joosten presents itself as Joosten Group.
