Working digitally: not the future but now!

BouwInfosys has been providing the best ERP software for contractors in the ground, road and hydraulic engineering sector since its establishment in 2002. Maarten Janssen and Ron Panhuizen form the current management and have themselves followed the contractor training in Tilburg. Combine that with years of experience in the automation of contractors in construction and infrastructure and you have the knowledge company with an enormous wealth of experience in the industry. 

For and with the customer

"Day in and day out, we work to improve and further expand our software. We do this not only for our customers, but especially together with our customers," continues Berwers. "We look carefully at the needs from the field and translate these into the software so that it fits the industry optimally." Not surprisingly, BouwInfosys continues to grow and serve an ever-growing clientele. In doing so, they focus on a specific target group: small and medium-sized businesses. "A very conscious choice," says Berwers, "because we like to be close to our users. Our software now connects tens of thousands of users whom we can always help through our own service desk. We do everything we can to unburden our customers."

Two product lines

"Our two product lines, InfraOffice and InfraWorks, are entirely focused on improving our customers' profitability," Berwers continued. "The entire process -from initial contact through estimating, tendering, execution, financial administration and aftercare - is in our integrated solution. Our customers experience it as user-friendly, smart, convenient and efficient." InfraOffice is a stable platform for smaller contractors where the heart of the software is the combination of financial and project administration. "InfraOffice has a lot of depth and functionality but is easy to fathom. Recently, the package was expanded to include InfraOffice Online so that employees outside the office can also use it. Plus, you can easily upgrade to InfraWorks, the second product line from BouwInfosys." InfraWorks is intended for the larger GWW contractors who want to house the entire process in one ERP solution. "Contractors with the ambition to work integrally and thus as efficiently as possible. InfraWorks is the most comprehensive ERP solution in the market where the functionality offered is developed fully integrated within the same total solution. From calculation to financial administration, from soil bank to aftercare. Unique, as no links to different systems are required. Information only needs to be entered once: you avoid additional work and reduce errors. The software is accessible both from the office and from the field (easily via web or app). The specific interfaces developed by us for the employees outside are geared to the limited functionality needed to do the work and are therefore clear and simple. For example, a foreman can neatly record the time registration, production and KAM registration on a tablet and this can be checked at any time by management through a dashboard." 

To think ahead is to lead the way

Both products are continuously being developed to meet requested and required needs. "By thinking ahead, we anticipate new laws and regulations in advance and are at the forefront of new functionality required in the market." Berwers cites as an example the RAW2020-based settlement of works, which BouwInfosys was the first in the market to include in its Infra software. "Meanwhile, we have developed a very nice Microsoft integration so you can work directly from the application with products like Microsoft Teams for meetings or calls." Berwers concludes, "We believe that with a truly integrated solution, faster development and a better overall solution can be offered."
