"The acquisition marks an important milestone in the history of our Group. With the integration of these areas, Zeppelin further expands its market position as one of the world's leading Cat dealers - to the benefit of our customers, employees and partners worldwide. The transfer of this responsibility demonstrates Caterpillar's great confidence in the performance of our employees and is a great recognition of our work," said Matthias Benz, CEO of the Zeppelin Group.

Zeppelin is now at the beginning of a transformation and the next phase of the company's development. The integration and transformation process is aimed at a more international orientation, more customer orientation and a future-proof portfolio. Therefore, there are also changes in the organizational structure. Zeppelin is organizing its cooperation into four strategic business units (Construction Equipment, Rental, Power Systems, Plant Engineering). From June 2, 2025, the strategic business units "Construction Equipment Germany & Austria" and "Construction Equipment International" will be merged into one SBU: Construction Equipment. This will combine business activities in Central Europe, Eastern Europe & Central Asia and Scandinavia.

A central "Post-Merger Integration (PMI) & Transformation Office" has also been established to ensure that integration and transformation take place in a focused and effective manner. This plays a key role in the integration of new business units and the overarching coordination of all transformation processes.

As a foundation-owned company, Zeppelin thinks and acts for the long term. This creates a reliable foundation - for long-term partnerships and for a secure, future-oriented working environment. In addition, the Zeppelin Group has a broad international base and operates in numerous markets. Customers and partners benefit from this through global experience and local proximity - and employees benefit from attractive development opportunities in an international environment.

Part of the upcoming integration includes 22 PEPP Group BV companies in five countries, Norway, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Belgium and France with a portfolio of new and used machinery, drive and power systems, maintenance and spare parts, as well as equipment rental solutions and related services. The Zeppelin Group thus grows with about 2,000 employees and about EUR 1.1 billion in revenues. "By creating synergy through complementary product portfolios and technologies, we can offer our customers an even wider range of solutions, products and services in the future," Benz confirms.
