Combination of trade show, conference program and demo area

Already proven effcient during the first two editions, this combination of a trade show, a conference program and a demo area, allows visitors to discover the full and innovative offerings of the concrete sector, both upstream: materials, products and additions, and downstream: decorative concrete, linings, coatings, engineering and services.

The exhibition space inside the hall is organized around a dual offering:

  • Concrete industry: materials and equipment, machinery and equipment for production of ready-mixed concrete and precast concrete, equipment for processing, equipment and material for special and decorative concrete, equipment for supply and application of ready-mixed concrete and precast concrete, new technologies, services and engineering for
  • Construction: accessories, components, construction parts, formwork, scaffolding and props, construction machinery and tools, building materials, new construction technologies.

The Concrete Demo, the outdoor demonstration area, will feature continuous demos dedicated to the applications of concrete products, especially specialty and decorative concrete, demonstrations of equipment and materials, around the latest expertise and application methods.

The forum of conferences and workshops, developed with European experts from the concrete industry, provides a focus on the basic elements of concrete and an overview of its contribution to key issues and changes in the industry, around eight themes:

  • Repair and maintenance of structures
  • Low carbon concrete
  • Underground work
  • RE 2020
  • Concrete and circular economy
  • Off-site construction
  • Bonded concrete
  • New processes

Special World of Concrete Award at the INTERMAT Innovation Awards

The international INTERMAT Innovation Awards competition rewards efforts in research and business development and highlights innovations that contribute to the advancement of the construction and infrastructure sector. In this context, a special World of Concrete Award will be given to companies that have introduced a specific innovation in the concrete sector.

Philippe Gruat, president of the Concrete Association speaking: 'All changes in our sector, whether environmental, technological or digital, must be guided in the best possible way so that they are effectively and quickly implemented. To this end, these innovations must also be appreciated and highlighted in order to be fully integrated into everyone's daily life. A fair, such as the World Of Concrete Europe, entirely dedicated to the concrete sector, offers this possibility, through its exhibition areas and concrete demonstrations. The conferences of the congress will also allow to discover the latest constructive advances of concrete and highlight its power to realize a new more sustainable and resilient paradigm.
