With Cleverdesk, you make unprecedented efficiency gains

Within the GWW, Cleverdesk is a popular software package due to the fact that the powerful communication platform brings people and equipment together. "Fifty percent of our customers therefore come from the GWW sector," explains Jorrit Bust, sales at Idea101.

Jorrit himself has been working for Idea101 for four years; Cleverdesk has been around since 2017. Since then, the software has become indispensable. "All facets associated with business processes within the GWW are covered in Cleverdesk, except accounting. We have smart links for that that work directly with the best-known accounting packages, such as AFAS and Exact," Jorrit says.

You are never too small or too big to work with Cleverdesk

Cleverdesk comes in two variants: Cleverdesk Platform switches between an existing ERP system and Cleverdesk and Cleverdesk Pro comes complete with ERP system, but without accounting functionality. Future-proofing guaranteed

Cleverdesk is prepared to receive and record data from sensors. "Think for example of GPS data. It can also use the LoRa network for IoT communication. Visser in Assen uses Bouwtag, self-contained GPS modules that are added to small equipment. Cleverdesk can handle that well. By storing and retrieving data centrally, everyone is assured of the correct information and failure costs are prevented," Jorrit said.

Cleverdesk comes into its own in the field. "After all, that's what it's all about. With the Cleverdesk app on tablet or smartphone (iOS or Android) and the software on the PC, collaboration is perfect. The administrator decides who gets access to what information, which can be done person-, project- or location-based."

Started from the field

Asked where now is the big difference between Cleverdesk and other software packages purchased for the same purpose, Jorrit explains: "Most software packages were developed for office environments and only later received enhancements to work with them in the field. Consequently, field work became secondary to the capabilities offered by the software in office environments. Cleverdesk, however, was developed from the field, from a strong need to request and register things as easily as possible when you are standing with your boots in the mud. The link to the office environment is a logical outgrowth of that." Asked for an example of the many applications in the field, Jorrit says, "Deliveries made on the construction site, for example, can be registered directly."
