Van Lenthe Dalfsen: 'In control' with digital work orders

Decisiveness is what Van Lenthe Dalfsen is known for. Since the beginning of 2021, Harold van Lenthe, together with his brother Henk-Jan and Wouter Hulleman, forms the new management of the company. In recent years, Van Lenthe Dalfsen has grown considerably: this calls for a different business approach. 

How can we get in control internally with the company? This question goes hand in hand with digitalization. From there Van Lenthe Dalfsen, together with VanMeijel, started looking at optimization and improvements with automation. On the basis of a strategy session, VanMeijel sat down with the family business to create insight into the elements of the business process to be optimized. What results do you want to achieve in the coming period? How can digitization help with this? 

One of the digitized processes is the work order. Previously, work orders were printed and given to the operator. From then on it was not clear where the voucher was. Thanks to Metacom Online, Van Lenthe Dalfsen has real-time insight into where the voucher is and what the status is. The operator has digital insight into everything on his smartphone. This worked so easily, that 60-year-old performers within van Lenthe Dalfsen convinced each other of the digital way of working.
