Trade fair Aqua Netherlands grows again and overflows with positivity

From March 19 to 21, Evenementenhal Gorinchem was completely dedicated to water. Trade show organizer Easyfairs once again showed growth in exhibitors (+8%) and visitors (+2%) with this edition of Aqua Netherlands, proving that there is a great need from the industry to come together. With 6,338 visitors, 302 exhibitors and 90 knowledge partners, Aqua Netherlands 2024 was a great success. And that was reflected in the ratings; exhibitors rated the fair with a 7.8 and visitors with an 8.  

Already 185 exhibitors for next edition

The success also translates into the commitment and confidence from exhibitors in this annual platform for the Dutch water sector. As many as 185 exhibitors have already booked stands for Aqua Netherlands 2025 during the 2024 edition. The extensive knowledge program was well attended by the trade audience. This confirms the need for knowledge, learning from each other and cooperation within the sector. In 2025 we will build on the success of the substantive program and work together again with industry associations and knowledge partners to flesh out themes around current challenges.

Networking dinner big success

The annual Aqua Netherlands Networking Dinner, which was co-sponsored by Water Alliance, also saw a large turnout of as many as 150 exhibitors. An annual moment where the exhibitors are the center of attention and where they can network among themselves while enjoying exclusive snacks to end the first day of the fair together.

Water for Life 

Aqua Netherlands 2024 gave the Water for Life Foundation a helping hand. They spent three days on the exhibition floor, were given space for a small presentation during the networking dinner, and at the end of exhibition day three, Easyfairs handed them a check for no less than 5,000 euros on behalf of the organization and exhibitors.

Fitting competitions during Aqua Netherlands 2025

New for 2025 are the Royal Dutch Water Network (KNW) Fittery Competitions. The 16th edition of the biennial KNW Fitting Competitions will take place for the first time during Aqua Netherlands from March 18 to 20, 2025. In the arena, teams from all ten Dutch water companies will compete to install a tap on a pressurized water pipe in the fastest time. The teams with professional fitters will compete for the world title in the process. Here technology, networking and pride in craftsmanship are paramount.

The next Aqua Netherlands will take place in Evenementenhal Gorinchem on March 18, 19 and 20, 2025. The fair attracts representatives from municipalities, provinces, the GWW sector, water boards, drinking water companies and industry. Exhibitors present solutions for rainwater drainage and collection, sewerage, sewage treatment plants, water treatment, water management and water technology.
