TOBROCO-GIANT has won an important legal victory at BAUMA 2025 in Munich. In summary proceedings, the court ruled that a Chinese manufacturer, who exhibited an unauthorized copy of the GIANT G2700, must immediately remove their machine from the fairgrounds.
Toine Brock, founder and CEO of TOBROCO-GIANT, commented on the outcome, "For nearly 30 years, we have put our heart and soul into developing high-quality machines. Protecting innovation and taking firm action against misuse is critical to the future of our industry. We understand that copying cannot be completely prevented, but this ruling shows that it will not always be without consequences."
Trademark attorney Fabio Adinolfi, who represented TOBROCO-GIANT in the lawsuit, added: "This decision provides a strong legal basis for TOBROCO-GIANT to act decisively against similar infringements in the future."
The Chinese company's machine was removed from the fairgrounds by court order. This ruling is not only a victory for TOBROCO-GIANT, but also sends a strong signal to the entire industry, that copying of machines cannot just happen with impunity.
