Success for Engcon at construction machinery show in Australia - machine operators impressed with swivels and automatic quick couplers

Scarce exception to this is the National Diesel & Turf Expo recently organized in Australia. Engcon, the leading manufacturer of turntables, exhibited at this edition for the first time under its own name after starting its Australian branch last year and can look back with satisfaction on a successful exhibition. The booth attracted many visitors and in addition, Engcon also received the award for "Most innovative product 2021" during the fair.

"Trade shows are a very important stage for us where we get a chance to meet customers and showcase our broad solutions. During this Corona year, many trade shows were cancelled out of necessity. We were therefore positively surprised that the National Diesel & Turf Expo went ahead this year after all," says Per-Oskar Svedberg, Site Manager at Engcon Australia.

He continued: "We are very pleased with our participation this year. Many earthmoving entrepreneurs here now know quite well what our innovative products can do and are considering investing in a tiltrotator, but there are still many people who have no idea what a rotary tiltrotator is. Therefore, it is extremely important that we have the opportunity to tell about our philosophy and products so that more potential customers can discover their benefits. Interest in our solutions was high and during all days of the fair we could look forward to a constant flow of visitors.

Great interest in the test machines

During the three-day exhibition, Engcon showed its rotary tiltrotators, the safe Q-Safe quick coupler, the EC-Oil automatic quick change system, the DC2 proportional control system and many pieces of equipment. Demonstrations were also performed by Australian operators already working with an Engcon tiltrotator.

"The swivel tilt attachments and the EC-Oil automatic quick-change system attracted by far the most interest. As soon as visitors saw how easy it is to connect or disconnect the swivel tilt or a hydraulic attachment without having to leave the cab, many realized that work becomes more comfortable and significant time savings can be made when changing implements," Per-Oskar Svedberg continued.

Visitors were also offered the opportunity to try out for themselves how an Engcon swivel tilt attachment works, something that was particularly appreciated and attracted a lot of interest. In addition, a fun contest was held in which participants had to rotate a container of soccer balls 360 degrees in time without losing any of the balls. Winner was Pat M. of PJ's Plumbing and Excavation with a time of 09:36.

Award for most innovative product

At the conclusion of the event, Engcon received the "Most Innovative Product" award for the complete combination of the EC-Oil automatic quick-change system, rotary attachment and hydraulic attachment. The award shows that Engcon's smart and innovative products resonate with Australian excavators.

"It's obviously nice to get the recognition that our products are innovative and drive development in the excavation industry. We are super proud of this award. What we should not forget is that our products may be taken for granted in Scandinavia, but in the rest of the world they are not so well established yet. However, we are well on our way," concludes Svedberg.
