ROTO acquires PRESTIA Group

We are very pleased that ROTO, headquartered in Uitgeest, has acquired 100% of the shares of PRESTIA Group effective October 5, 2021. The French PRESTIA Group fits perfectly into the ROTO strategy, not only in terms of activities, but also in terms of geographical location. 

PRESTIA Group specializes in the preservation of steel, stainless steel and aluminum by hot-dip galvanizing, centrifuge galvanizing, scooping, wet painting and powder coating. PRESTIA Group has about 450 employees, twelve production sites and has the largest galvanizing bath in France. 

PRESTIA Group is a good complement to the existing ROTO business portfolio of De Boer Staal, Staco, Rotocoat and Rezinal. PRESTIA Group is especially complementary to Rotocoat, which carries out the same surface treatment activities in the Netherlands and has the longest galvanizing bath in the Netherlands. 

We are very excited about this reinforcement. It will benefit both Rotocoat and PRESTIA Group to share best practices and further align their services with the needs of their (future) customers. Working together, they can make their businesses more sustainable and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
