Ritchie Bros. is launching Super September 2025 - a month filled with auctions with a host of auctions designed to meet the strong international demand for used farm equipment across Europe. With multiple events across EMEA and APAC, this is an important opportunity for farmers, contractors and agricultural businesses to buy and sell equipment ahead of the fall and winter seasons.
This season is the time to think BIG - with more auctions, more opportunities and greater reach, especially given the dynamic activity in the first half of the year: Ritchie Bros. has seen an increase of 21% in buyers year-to-date, along with an increase of 19% in auction registrations from bidders in the EMEA and APAC regions. These figures highlight the continued confidence in the used heavy equipment market.
The countries with the most international bidding and buying activity are Australia, Spain, France, Italy and Germany.
In the construction sector, mini-excavators, aerial work platforms, tracked excavators, wheel loaders and articulated dump trucks were sold most frequently.
In the transportation segment, the top selling items included tractors with both single and dual axles, dump trucks, sport utility vehicles and pickup trucks.
Super Septemberis designed to connect sellers with buyers at the right time. With rising demand for used equipment - reflected in a 21% increase in bidder registrations - September provides a valuable opportunity to market used heavy equipment and vehicles.
Through Ritchie Bros.' global network, sellers can benefit from broad international visibility and access to a large pool of active buyers. The company offers flexible selling options, including auctions without reservation and the Marketplace-Eplatform, depending on individual needs.
