Public Space Advisor, a real tastemaker

Public space is in the spotlight. Residents of the municipality of Ede expect a safe, accessible and sustainable outdoor space in which to live, work and recreate. As Public Space Advisor you are able to formulate integral policy and develop a vision on municipal road management and lighting. You will advise and implement plans, projects, programs and procedures for the sustainable design and management of public space. This is how you give the municipality of Ede even more flavor. And you are proud of that, because you really contribute to our entire municipality of more than 120,000 inhabitants. There are various challenging jobs that you can get to work on. For example, working on drafting a memorandum for artworks and public lighting. 

For 36 hours per week, as a persuasive Public Space Advisor, you will be engaged in:

• (help) draft a vision for public space, policy Roads and contribute ideas to management plans.
• Advising board and coordinating policies made.
• Aligning and steering for a good quality-price ratio partly by performing the policy review. You act as a sparring partner for the road authorities at the Programming Department and provide guidance on policy implementation.
• Advise in planning projects and make integral considerations for area processes.
• create support and ensures appropriate education and communication.

As Public Space Advisor you report to the Department Manager Policy, Infrastructure and Environment. You will work integrally with, among others, the Green Advisors, Water Advisors, traffic engineers, road authorities, landscape architects and urban planners on design and management projects.
