Modern production hall for steel trench shoring systems

EURO VERBAU expands production and manufacturing hall at new location in Mönchengladbach.

EURO VERBAU GmbH has taken an important step in its corporate history with the move to the new location in Mönchengladbach. "Here we can double production," say managing partners Hubert Bindels and Bernd Mund happily. Due to high demand for trench shoring systems and continued growth, the old location became too small. "Our successful growth made expansion necessary," says Bindels. "After all, we want to guarantee that we can deliver even as we continue to grow." At the same time, EURO VERBAU can further increase the efficiency of the entire production thanks to the significantly larger production hall and investments in new, more modern machinery and improved work processes

Production on 4,100 m²

At the new location in Mönchengladbach, EURO VERBAU has a total area of approx. 22,000 m², with an extensive external storage hall. Production has been significantly expanded and is now housed in a 4,100 m² production hall. One of the innovations includes an automated welding system. With this, manually pre-welded plates and guide beams are further processed with precision and efficiency.
Production was not only expanded but also modernized. An important and essential investment here was the state-of-the-art electrostatic painting line with heat recovery and reduced paint consumption. Here the formwork systems are provided with the characteristic EURO VERBAU paint finish or with a customer-specific look. "It was of primary importance to us to make a contribution to protecting the environment by saving significantly on energy and paint consumption," says Bindels.

The move to the new location also allowed EURO VERBAU to significantly expand its outdoor area and thus its rental fleet. This now accommodates several thousand units, such as guide bar plates, guide beams and various boxes. The rental park in Mönchengladbach complements the location in Leipzig, from which, among other things, Berlin and other major cities in eastern Germany are supplied.

These are manufactured entirely in its own modern production line - including prefabrication, assembly, semi-automatic welding and painting. Thanks to in-house production and the extensive external warehouse, the Mönchengladbach site can offer its systems for both sale and rental worldwide. 60 percent of the systems are exported. In addition, EURO VERBAU's new location benefits from its favorable central location in Germany and Europe, as well as its excellent connections: via the nearby A61, customers at home and abroad and the seaports of Rotterdam and Antwerp can be reached quickly.
