Metso: innovative solutions

At Bauma, the Finnish manufacturer will launch its revolutionary innovations for the extractives and aggregates industries. Associated with those launches are technologies and services that make it possible to increase productivity and reduce costs.

"Metso continues to invest in the development of solutions for the aggregates and mining industries and we are particularly pleased to present our latest products at Bauma." stated Olli-Pekka Oksanen, vice president for Western Europe at Metso. "Many of the developments we propose are based on information our customers give us regarding product characteristics and their commercial needs. That return helps them improve their performance and better control their cost per ton."

In addition to new crushing and screening solutions, Metso will also showcase a revolutionary innovation for off road trucks designed to enable mines and quarries to transport more with less. This major product launch will help customers increase payload while reducing their operating costs. In addition, Metso will present there a wide range of equipment, wear parts and components, as well as services designed to make operations more efficient.

Metso is also coming to Bauma with its Lokotrack LT200HP mobile cone crusher designed for secondary and tertiary crushing applications of aggregates intended for road construction, railroad ballast and asphalt and concrete recycling. The LT200HP complies with European Stage V regulations against pollution. And it will also feature the Metso MX(TM) cone crusher, equipped with the patented Multi-Action crushing technology. This device reduces the operational costs of crushing plants and extends working time compared to traditional cone crushers. Since its introduction to the market in 2017, Metso has sold 50 MX crushers worldwide. Furthermore, the Metso Lokotrack® Urban(TM) range is also worth discovering. This brings great changes for crushing operations in densely populated environments, such as city centers. It reduces noise pollution by 60% and significantly reduces dust emissions.
