EasyStairs' talus stairs with self-levelling treads, for safely bridging different heights, have become indispensable in the construction and infrastructure sector. The product has been approved by the Department of Public Works for use as an escape staircase and Dutch infrastructure contractors are already making grateful use of it.
Creating safe and sustainable access at height or in a construction pit, that's where it all started at EasyStairs. "We are a supplier and lessor of modular and linkable stairs as an alternative to the wooden construction ladder that ends up in the trash after every project," says Bouwe Bölger, owner of EasyStairs. "Companies only need one staircase for multiple projects and no longer waste wood or steel to (re)construct a temporary staircase. And that quick and cheap to install solution is appreciated, also from a sustainability perspective. In recent years in particular, our rental division has been experiencing strong growth."
So the strong point of the universal talus stairs with hinged treads is their versatility. "Our talus stairs are approved by the Department of Public Works as escape stairs," says Bouwe. Bouwe thus sees plenty of potential for talus stairs, but also notices an increasing demand for other products in EasyStairs' extensive range, such as loading and unloading platforms, walkways, fixed and even suspended stair towers.
