Innovation and chain cooperation at trade fair Aqua Netherlands 2024

The trade fair Aqua Nederland, scheduled for March 19, 20 and 21, 2024 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem, offers a comprehensive knowledge program with 70 sessions in the two knowledge theaters and a dynamic exhibition floor full of innovation and interaction. Over 300 exhibitors in the fields of wastewater, drinking water, process water and urban water & sewer management can be found at "The Water Marketplace" on the first floor and at "Next Level" the upper floor. Next Level is also bursting with innovation, knowledge, advice and career opportunities.

Start-up and Innovation Pavilion

In cooperation with Water Alliance, innovations and start-ups will be given a prominent place at the Start-up and Innovation Pavilion at Next Level. Several companies will present their groundbreaking solutions for the water industry here. For example, Xylem integrates data from all existing tools and technologies and makes that information available to the entire organization with a real-time status overview. Eyewings BV will present here the Aquasurveyor, an innovative measuring boat equipped with numerous sonars, sensors and cameras for mapping waterways that are stored directly in the Cloud. EasyMining has developed an innovative way for a sustainable nitrogen recovery process. In addition, Blue Earth Innovations, Purgatoria, Waterschot, Care4H2O, Solliq Industry, DOTX Control and the Water Campus are also represented at the Pavilion.

Aqua Netherlands and Water for Life join forces for clean drinking water worldwide

AquaNederland, joins forces with the Water for Life Foundation, which is set up from the Dutch drinking water companies. Water for Life strives for safe drinking water and sanitation worldwide, and every donation goes directly to the projects abroad. With a modest contribution of 18 euros per person, sustainable projects such as water supply networks and public water taps are realized. Aqua Netherlands supports this initiative and calls on exhibitors, knowledge partners and visitors to jointly contribute to a world without lack of clean drinking water.

Vacancy Plaza returns

On the 'Vacature Plaza', water professionals can explore their career options with the most current vacancies, for both starters and experienced professionals. In cooperation with Watervacatures.nl, an initiative of KNW/H2O, and Waterjobs, an initiative of Water Alliance, Aqua Nederland offers the opportunity to connect with employers in the water industry.

Chain Cooperation at Next Level

The two knowledge theaters at Next Level offer substantive depth to the various water chains with the goal of learning from each other and encouraging chain cooperation. The Urban Water Theater covers current topics such as sewer management, asset management and the climate-adaptive street. In addition, the Water Theater welcomes specific audiences on different days, including Process Water Tuesday, Water Board Wednesday and Drinking Water Thursday. Renowned parties such as Water Alliance, Stichting RIONED, Koninklijke VEMW, Unie van Waterschappen, Koninklijk Nederlands Waternetwerk, KWR, Water Purification Alliance, Wetsus, Arcadis, Oasen, Evides and many others are represented in the program.

About Aqua Netherlands

Aqua Netherlands will take place in Evenementenhal Gorinchem on March 19, 20 and 21, 2024, from 10:00-18:00. The exhibition attracts representatives of municipalities, provinces, the GWW sector, water boards, drinking water companies and industry, among others. Over 300 exhibitors present solutions for stormwater drainage and collection, sewerage, sewage treatment plants, water treatment, water management and water technology.
