When will you have time to saw? For anyone who works with ABX sawmill more often, knows that two counter-questions always come up then: 1. "When is the earliest we can get it done?" 2. "When must it be done at the latest? This reverse way of planning ensures that ABX almost always, gets everything done to the satisfaction of its regular clients. 3,500 times a year. Year in and year out.
It is certainly one of the reasons for the Graaf Reinaldalliantie to join forces with ABX sawmij. Over the next five years, they will be on standby on the 23-kilometer stretch of road between Gorinchem and Waardenburg for both planned and ad hoc sawing work. From a few meters of sawing work for an unforeseen calamity, to kilometers of straight sawing edges for verge surfacing or reconstructions of existing roads.
In addition to flexible scheduling, ABX sawmij has a very experienced team, with machinists who are also very involved in the work of clients on the job site. They think along with simultaneous and follow-up work and often set the bar even higher than many clients.
Another reason is capacity and working speed. "Where every other machine takes at least a week to cut five kilometers of asphalt, we can do it with one 480hp saw truck in one normal working day," explains Dirk van Gelder of ABX sawmij. "It goes without saying that this saves you an enormous amount of time on a project. Follow-up work can be scheduled quickly. Moreover, you minimize the inconvenience to simultaneous work and local residents."
In addition to the two saw trucks, ABX sawmill has ten more smaller, but heavy-duty sawing machines. "In this respect, no job is too big and ten different locations can be sawed at the same time, simultaneously. The result of all this is that the guarantee of success is enormous. So failure cost is a very dirty word within ABX sawmij."
