BUKO Construction & Shops' integral and cost-effective concepts offer a suitable solution for every project. "For example, we supply ready-made units for short-term projects or in case of emergencies. These are quick and easy to assemble and install and also quickly removed when the project is completed. Cost-wise, of course, very interesting," Avis knows. "For long-term projects, we work with a so-called bulkhead shelter. This consists of a wooden element system of insulated sandwich panels, which is built on site. The beauty of that system is that it can be made completely to the client's wishes per one-meter grid, both in terms of layout and furnishings. Kitchen? No problem. Furniture? Yes, that's possible. Corona-proof? We take care of it!" Even when multiple accommodations are needed on a large project site, it is all taken care of to perfection by BUKO Construction & Shops. "We make sure everything and everyone has a place, the logistics are right and work can be done efficiently." Avis explains that at the end of the project, everything is neatly dismantled and the building can be taken back or moved to a new project.

Sustainable and circular

Avis notes that sustainability and circularity are playing an increasing role in construction projects. For example, the project office or performance or shelters are constructed entirely of sustainable wood and completely updated in terms of installation. For example, they are equipped with energy-efficient heat pumps, contain LED lighting and are optionally available with solar panels, a green roof and water-saving buttons in the plumbing. Just what the client wants. Because a wood element building for 90% consists of certified wood and is always reused, it is highly circular."

Project partner for large and small contractors

BUKO Construction & Shops is an excellent project partner for both small and large contractors working in a variety of industries. They are completely self-sufficient with their own trucks, personnel, construction crews, ample inventory and have the proper certifications. Also in Amsterdam, during work on the Piet Hein Tunnel, an office was installed for the construction consortium: good for about 70 corona-proof workstations. Finally, Avis mentions the Sluis near Terneuzen: "For the entire project, we placed a huge project office here. There are also several sets of units on the job for the benefit of the execution there.
