Well pumps, trench shoring, vibratory rollers, mobile light towers or earthmoving equipment from 1 to 35 tons with or without personnel, Bunnik Rental and John Bunnik Grondverzet rent (almost) everything for contractors in the infrastructure sector. The two sister and family businesses are continually investing in making their machinery more sustainable with cleaner engines and the purchase of hybrid and electric equipment.
With over forty years of experience and many regular clients in the infrastructure sector, John Bunnik Grondverzet is a household name in earthmoving. The company rents out excavators and shovels with and without operators, among other things. "If necessary, we even adapt our equipment to the specific requirements of a project," explains company manager Perry Bunnik. "It ensures that we can perform work faster and more efficiently. Thanks also to our experienced machinists. Just under a year ago, for example, we delighted our colleague Dennis with a new 27-ton Case CX 250D crawler crane with an extended boom. As a regular operator he is mainly active with this machine on the larger infrastructure projects in our country. Our clients appreciate the way we approach projects and, if necessary, adjust equipment. This has even led to a number of machines being finished in our clients' house colors."
The family business is more than just a partner in earthmoving. Since 1995, sister company Bunnik Verhuur has been added to the family concern, specializing in the rental of materials and accessories for the infrastructure sector. "We don't want our customers to miss out and make sure we always have the right materials on hand," says Perry. "For example, we have a wide range of well and dirty water pumps ranging in capacity from 30 to 280 m3 per hour. Some of our pump fleet has recently been updated with cleaner stage5 motors, but electrically driven pumps are also part of our range. We like to think along with our customers and give personal advice on the use of materials, equipment and moving water."
In addition to pumps, Bunnik Verhuur's product range includes all types and sizes of trench shoring, vibratory rollers and mobile light towers to even brush cutters. Perry: "You name it, we rent it. New in the range, for example, are hybrid light towers equipped with a stage5 motor and a battery pack combined with solar panels, electric vibratory plates up to 3 tons and electric wacker stamps. The compact vibratory hammer ICE 428 is also new and extremely suitable for vibrating particularly narrow sheet piles."
Thanks to optimal synergy between the sister companies, infrastructure contractors have only one point of contact for virtually all (support) equipment and accessories. "We arrange the complete picture and offer fast service. Because with our skilled personnel, we can respond quickly and flexibly to unexpected and complex situations. Even on weekends."
