Develon's second European dealer conference took place in Rome at the end of February 2026 and was dedicated to continued growth. The company usually organizes this conference once every two years. The previous edition, also the first under the Develon brand name, was held in Valencia in 2024.
A total of 186 people participated in the Rome meeting, including 125 employees of 66 dealers from 24 different countries. Also present were five members of HD Construction Equipment's management team from Korea, as well as employees from various departments of Develon in Europe.

The two-day conference offered Develon dealers an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from their own region and from all over Europe. In addition, Develon employees had the opportunity to speak to each other and exchange experiences.
Rome, the Eternal City, provided an exceptional setting for the conference. As a global hub where history, culture and progress converge, the city provided an inspiring environment for exchanging ideas and celebrating successes.
This year's meeting at the Crowne Plaza Rome Hotel opened with a presentation by TK Choi (Executive Vice President of HD Construction Equipment). This presentation provided an overview of global and European business activities. This included information on the newly formed HD Construction Equipment, the global market outlook, sales targets and strategic business direction. In addition, the expansion of aftermarket and product support activities was covered by other executives.
Jayden Lim (Head of HD Construction Equipment Europe/CEO of Develon Europe) then spoke about the company's achievements, new product introductions and continued expansion of the company's facilities and dealer network in Europe.

There have been significant developments since the last European dealer conference, including the opening of Develon's new Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Boom. This represents an important step in the company's strategy to improve customer service and accelerate growth in the European market.
The new Belgian PDC has 24,000 m² of warehouse space and 47,000 items in stock. It is designed to bring services closer to customers and enables Develon to respond more quickly to the diverse and changing demands of the European construction equipment market.
Develon also opened a new store of its own in Germany and established Develon Deutschland in Mannheim, to establish a new strategic base in the country.
In addition, Develon has opened a new Customization Center in Antwerp, which acts as an integrated center for machine customization within the EU. This facility was set up to configure and deliver machines to the European market faster and more efficiently. It allows machines to be prepared and set up according to specific customer requirements, improving both responsiveness and overall service levels.

Another Customization Center was recently opened in Southampton, operating in the same way as the Antwerp branch. This marks another milestone in a busy and successful two-year period.
In addition to developing the Develon brand in Europe, the company continues to develop innovative technologies that are shaping the future of the construction industry and the way it works. Over the past two years, Develon has strengthened its position with a new product line, including the launch of 24 new models, culminating in the successful introduction of the Series 9 smart crawler excavators.
