Comprehensive knowledge program with 70 Knowledge Sessions at Trade Fair Aqua Netherlands 2024

This year's trade fair Aqua Nederland, which takes place from March 19 to 21, 2024 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem, offers an abundant knowledge program with no less than 70 knowledge sessions. Under the theme "Working Together on Water," the event brings together more than 6,500 visitors, 300 exhibitors and 70 experts from the knowledge program, making it an essential networking event in the fields of wastewater, process water, drinking water and urban water & sewer management.

'Next Level' and 'Water Marketplace'

The spacious exhibition hall on the first floor at Evenementenhal Gorinchem continues to traditionally serve as the "Water Marketplace" for new products and services within the water sector. The modern upper floor, Next Level, provides a platform for knowledge suppliers, engineering and consultancy firms, and specific suppliers focused on climate and urban water. Here, in collaboration with Water Alliance, a revamped Start-up and Innovation Pavilion will be introduced. Visitors here can also visit the InfraCampus-Foundation IKN Street, the Water Theater and Urban Water Theater, Vacancy Plaza and conference halls.

Three-day symposia Water Alliance and Water Purifications Alliance

Each exhibition day, Water Alliance and IKT Water & Maritime together with partners kick off the program in the Water Theater, with the topic "Process water is often not drinking water, but it should be there!" on Tuesday, together with Royal VEMW, Wetsus and RWB Water. On Wednesday, together with Arcadis, Union of Water Boards, KWR Water Research Institute and Nijhuis Saur Industries, it organizes the session "PFAS Forever or not?". On Thursday, Water Alliance concludes with the topic "Drinking water under ever lower pressure, what are the possibilities and advice for the future for taking drinking water for granted?" together with Oasen Drinking Water, Deltares and My Water Factory. The Water Purification Alliance, consisting of TAUW, croonwolter&dros, Sweco, RWB Water and Mobilis, deals with various innovative and comprehensive projects in the field of water purification every day.

Water theater focuses on water technology

With Process Water Tuesday, Water Board Wednesday and Drinking Water Thursday, the visiting sector can pick up the latest water technology knowledge in the Water Theater. In addition to the symposia, leading parties such as Royal Dutch Water Network, KWR, Evides, Gemba, Royal HaskoningDHV, HACH, Bilfinger Tebodin and Kemira are making prominent contributions to the knowledge program.

Urban Water and Sewerage

The Urban Water Theater gives stage to many knowledge partners, for example Stichting RIONED who talks about 'What does the European Directive on wastewater treatment mean for your work in the municipality?' GEP Water Management talks about 'Rainwater as a source of water and energy' and Circospin presents the 'Practical connection in circular pumping stations'. SmartCity-IoT comes with a session on 'Smart water management and climate adaptation', GeoZICHT takes the listener through 'Asset management of the 21st century', KWR presents 'No green without blue, the changing role of water in the city' and ACO inspires with a story on 'Together we restore the local water cycle'.

About Aqua Netherlands

Aqua Netherlands will take place in Evenementenhal Gorinchem on Tuesday 19, Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 March 2024 from 10:00 to 18:00.
