Bedrijfsterrein van beton, altijd een goede investering

Business park made of concrete, always a good investment

Maintenance-free, hard-wearing, long life and extremely durable

Concrete pavement has been the most durable and trouble-free solution for industrial sites for many years. It is flat, strong, hard-wearing and, with a lifespan of at least 30 years, also an unprecedentedly durable solution for road construction and industrial sites, yards, stables and halls. Those who do the math choose concrete. Because it is simply the most economical long-term solution.

A concrete pavement requires a somewhat higher investment than asphalt, for example, but that investment pays off handsomely when the many benefits are considered. The benefits of the long lifespan are the easiest to calculate. Properly laid by a specialist like Roos Groep from Bladel, for example, a concrete pavement will last for decades under normal circumstances. "I know plenty of examples of paving we laid more than 30 years ago that are still in perfect condition," says director and owner Peter Roos, who has been 'in concrete' for more than 40 years, as he proudly calls it. "And in all these years there has been hardly any maintenance to be done," he emphasizes.

Numerous benefits
In addition to its economic advantages, concrete as a pavement has numerous other benefits. For example, it has a particularly high load-bearing capacity, which is an advantage when storing heavy equipment or containers, for example. But it is also particularly wear-resistant and can withstand heavy truck combinations that turn 360˚ for a moment, heavy agricultural equipment or intensive internal transport. In road construction, a major advantage is that it can withstand high axle loads and braking traffic. In addition, concrete 100% is recyclable.

Innovation
With more than 60 years of experience in concrete paving and road construction, Roos Group is extremely innovative. One specializes in washing out concrete for a particularly decorative finish and noise reduction. As the first Dutch road construction specialist, Roos recently started using Total Stations from Leica, in which the concrete machine runs completely and extremely accurately on a pre-programmed drawing. Setting pins and wire is thus a thing of the past. And as their latest innovation, they recently started using a mobile concrete plant for smaller quantities of concrete, which offers a unique solution for numerous smaller construction and remodeling jobs. This is how Roos Group continues to innovate, in order to provide the customer with the best and most economical paving.

Roos Group has specialized in consulting, design and realization of concrete pavements for companies and governments since 1956. Projects range from yards and access roads, company and parking lots and container terminals, to liquid-proof pavements for wash and tank sites. The company has branches in the Netherlands and Belgium, its own sand and gravel business, modern transport equipment and mobile concrete plants. Besides the Benelux, Roos Group is also active in Germany, among other countries.
