The trade show Aqua Netherlands is now unveiling large parts of the exhibition layout and knowledge program for its 2023 edition scheduled for March 21, 22 and 23 at Evenementenhal Gorinchem two months before the show. Major features include the two knowledge theaters, the large number of side events, a three-day mini-symposium and the revamped offering on Next Level, the top floor of Evenementenhal Gorinchem.
"For many years, Aqua Netherlands has been considered the trade fair for the entire water chain. Actually, there is only one water chain in the Netherlands that is becoming increasingly unified. A chain that fortunately is increasingly working together to meet the challenges of circularity, energy transition, climate adaptation and safe water. As in previous years, a well-filled exhibition floor forms the basis of Aqua Netherlands, which is divided into four segments: wastewater, drinking water, process water and urban water & sewer management," says Esther Rodenburg on behalf of exhibition organizer Easyfairs Netherlands.
During the 2023 edition, the future of water management will take center stage at the fair more than ever before. To help realize this, two theaters will be set up on Next Level, the renovated top floor of Evenementenhal Gorinchem. There is a Water Theater and an Urban Water Theater. Rodenburg: "Just like last year, we are working with different theme days for the Water Theater: process water Tuesday, water board Wednesday and drinking water Thursday. Companies speaking include Royal Dutch Water Network, KWR, Dutch Safety Institute Foundation, Water Alliance, Duspot, Hach and Veolia. The companies Mobilis, Croonwolter&Dros, TAUW, Sweco Netherlands and RWBwater are jointly organizing a three-day mini-symposium."
The Urban Water Theater will host sessions each day on various climate, sewer management and urban water topics, often targeting visitors working at or for municipalities. During Aqua Netherlands 2023, several side events can also be visited from Deltares, Platform DIO, Bouwend NL and others, and a student program is offered from Royal Dutch Water Network.
Whereas the first floor of Aqua Netherlands 2023 is primarily dedicated to a marketplace of products where supply and demand meet, Next Level is set up as the place for knowledge products, networking, advice, innovations and careers. Here, as mentioned, the two knowledge theaters can be found, among other things, as well as the Innovation Street, the IKN Street and consulting and engineering firms are presenting themselves. Many major market players can be found at Next Level, such as TBS-SVA Group, WaterCampus, Tauw, Croonwolter&Dros, Mobilis, KWR, Royal HaskoningDHV, Sweco Nederland, ENVAQUA, Water Alliance, NWP and Vandervalk + Degroot BV.
The upcoming edition of Aqua Netherlands can be visited on Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 March 2023 from 10.00 to 18.00 in Evenementenhal Gorinchem. Aqua Nederland is a low-threshold trade fair where visitors and exhibitors can easily and quickly get in touch with each other while enjoying free catering. For more information: www.aquanederland.nl.
