Adjustable talus steps for optimal flexibility

Because the treads of the Talud staircase hinge on the stringer, you can overcome heights from 51 cm to as much as 416 centimeters with one staircase, depending on the variant you choose. Thus, the staircase always fits.

"The Talud staircase is new in the Netherlands since November 2019," begins Gert Huisman of EasyStairs. "The adjustable staircase has won many hearts in the construction and infrastructure sector in a short time. Logical, because companies now only need one staircase for almost all projects. So they no longer waste wood or steel on (re)making a temporary staircase. BAAK purchased a total of six Talu staircases with eighteen steps each. The configuration provides a safe ascent (read: flat steps) at an angle of inclination of 30 to 55 degrees and has a height range of 253.5 to 415.5 centimeters. On an embankment, the steps can even be linked endlessly."

EasyStairs supplies and rents the Talud stairs from stock in six varieties from three to eighteen steps. "The Talud stairs are made of galvanized steel, durable and endlessly reusable," explains Huisman. "They are easy to transport and ready to use in five minutes. Because of their weight of 150 kilograms, this is usually done with a crane. Later this year we will present a lighter variant in aluminum that can be easily installed by two people."
