Van der Velden – Solutions for now and for the future
What began in 1965 as a small family business has grown into a strong, all-round sewer management company with branches throughout the Netherlands. For sixty years, we have been building on a solid foundation. This goes far beyond simply clearing blockages. We renovate, inspect, draw up maintenance plans, and even have our own grease and oil processing facility. Since 2025, we have also added our own Van der Velden Academy. Here, we train our employees from all levels of the company.
Our ambition is to hand over the company in good health to the fourth generation in a world that is more sustainable than today's.
We serve a wide range of industries, with a wide range of expertise. Healthcare has different needs than a restaurant chain. Our experts know how to deal with medical waste streams. Emptying grease traps from catering establishments is a completely different ball game. Van der Velden does it all.
24/7 emergency service – A sewer emergency usually comes unexpectedly and is always inconvenient. That is why we have 24/7, 365 days service technicians are on standby every year.
Renovation – We renovate sewer systems with S4reno®. This allows us to renovate sewers without digging, breaking, or cutting. This means no inconvenience for residents and ensures a properly functioning sewer system.
Repair & renewal – Our experts carry out a condition assessment of the sewerage system and provide customized advice for repairs where possible and replacement where necessary.
Cleaning & inspection – We use state-of-the-art equipment to perform periodic maintenance on the sewer system. We record our findings in a report to provide a clear overview of the state of maintenance.
Oil & Grease – Van der Velden is an expert in oil-water-sludge and grease-water-sludge separation. From installation, emptying, and maintenance to inspection of the separators.
Management & Advice – Our advisors propose optimal management plans and targeted management reports.
We view our growth and development in light of sustainability. We believe that contributing to a sustainable world is of the utmost importance for today's world and tomorrow's. Van der Velden was the first in its sector to sign the Sustainable Development Goals charter (SDG charter). This charter sets out 17 global goals, with the aim of ending poverty, inequality, and climate change by 2030.
