Due to its large blasting capacity, Straalbedrijf Holland West B.V. can blast large objects up to a size of 29 x 7 x 5 meters, weighing up to 32 tons. SHW also has a blast room with these dimensions. This blasting capacity fits in perfectly with the Steel coating hall XXL and ensures an efficient supply of materials to the Construction coating hall and the Hang coating hall. The Steel Coating Hall XXL is specifically equipped for coating objects or composite structures with large dimensions, such as HC containers, large 3D bridge decks, guy portals for the energy sector.
Or 130-year-old iron for the rail sector, such as Leeuwarden station. Another rail project we are proud of is the bus canopy at Amsterdam Central Station. Here we blasted a hot-dip galvanized steel construction and provided it with a two-layer paint system. An elevator and canopy construction for Alkmaar Noord station which we blasted sa 2.5 and provided with a three-layer system.
