MNE is a young, dynamic and enthusiastic company with more than 20 years of experience and expertise in demolition and dismantling work.
Active since January 1, 2011 and still growing and on the move carrying out complex demolition and dismantling work in the broadest sense of the word at home and abroad. With a wide fleet of specialized equipment and a team of professionals, we are daily engaged in challenging projects in various sectors.
Widening A9 Badhoevedorp - Holendrecht
For the realization of the widening of the A9, MNE demolished (partly) six structures to make way for the new ones. As part of an initiative from RWS for the circular reuse of concrete prestressed elements, a total of almost 300 girders were harvested. This means they were cut loose and disassembled piece by piece. After being hoisted out, the elements were handed over to the consortium, which is continuing to deal with the further processing and deployment of these elements.
Another striking structure is KW001, the Schiphol Bridge over the ring canal. Based on the design, the choice was made to build the new extension on the existing foundation. In two phases, MNE cut the entire superstructure into pieces on site and removed it for further processing at a location elsewhere. This made it possible to remove the complete basement in a very short time frame without much disruption or blockages. Including three complete steel bridges incl. movement works and ballast boxes.
In the scope of MNE:
Port handling equipment
In the field of dismantling and demolition of harbor cranes, MNE definitely has a track record. Over the past 10 years, more than 100 cranes have been dismantled with the absolute record being two Super-Post-Panamax STS cranes in Hamburg. With a height of over 80m, a length of almost 140m and a weight of over 2000 tons each, these are the absolute mastodons of the port. The cranes are dismantled carefully and with minimum disruption to shipping and terminal so that the parts can be processed safely at ground level and in accordance with current (environmental) requirements. Of all the materials coming off the cranes, 99.9% are recycled!
