The power units used in earthworks, civil engineering and hydraulic engineering must be able to withstand rough handling. They must be of the best quality, robust, powerful and theft-proof. But at the same time, they must not cause any noise pollution, must be easy to move and install, and must meet the latest emission requirements.
When it comes to generators for construction and rental, Brinkmann & Niemeijer always offers a suitable solution. They not only ensure that their product range complies with the new laws and regulations, but also have knowledge of the consequences of the new emission requirement. "These are developments we all have to get used to," says Frits Lubberts, commercial director at Brinkmann & Niemeijer Motoren BV. "And in this we want to support the customer. Not only explaining that all the technology on the a Stage V engine is much more complex, but also what this means in practice. The market is changing and we can't ignore that. In the call for tenders, the Stage V requirement is coming up more and more prominently."
"Most of our wide range of standard products, now meet the new emissions requirement (Stage V). But for applications where a standard genset will not suffice, we offer custom solutions." Lubberts continues: "Think of specific dimensions due to a limited space, noise level due to the environment or an extra large fuel tank or an external tank connection. But remote reading is also a possibility. Together with the customer, we look closely at what the application is and translate the wishes into a product that fits it completely."
"In that process, choices must be made regarding the sub-products so that the total seamless assembly of the individual components leads to the best solution. Combine that with price, quality and the required emission standard and the most important decision criteria are known. Thanks to our years of knowledge and experience and personal contact with the customer, we can then convert the demand into a suitable product."
Working together with the customer to arrive at a good choice for a product whether this is a standard product with various options or a customized product does not matter; the product must fit our customer's needs. Lubberts continues: "Our strength is working with short lines and we are very flexible. In addition, we find service and personal contact with the customer very important. For us, a satisfied customer is the most important thing," Lubberts concludes.
