Revolutionary modular gripper quickly and easily changes up to fifteen trays

At MATEXPO 2019, we saw a new solution in the field of grabs for construction machinery: the SMART&UPGRADABLE MODULARIS GRAPPLE. With this, Tramac once again brings a unique tool to the Benelux that will particularly benefit everyone in the GWW, demolition and infrastructure sector.

Revolutionary and 100% modular

Within just 3 minutes, shells can be changed hydraulically. "Not only the fast changeover, but especially the enormous versatility is a huge plus," says Benoit Vercruysse, director of Tramac Benelux. "The product is 100% modular, which allows an operator to perform more than fifteen different variations of work functions with just one machine -provided with the Modularis gripper."

Unique in the world

It is the only gripper on the market with "A - Synchro Grip. The two Hydro cylinders can be controlled separately (but with 1 standard line) and the arm shape and arm movements adapt to the load shape. This always creates an optimal and best possible grip, on any material.

Optimal solution for the most versatile needs

At MATEXPO, Tramac demonstrated not only the grading/demolition grapple (which is available in standard and HD versions), but also other elements such as the Aligator and various digging scales. These and other modules are available for application in agriculture, industry and forestry. All modules are widely applicable, from mini excavators to 45-ton excavators. Tramac thus cleverly responds to companies that perform seasonal work, for example, where some machines would otherwise stand idle for months. But also companies with a small machine fleet can perform many different activities without expensive expansion. With less money and less space, you can now do more! And the great thing is that the manufacturer is very flexible: if you need a 16th scale, it is simply custom-made.

Up-to-date

Since a smart gripper must be up-to-date, Modularis can also provide a DIGITAL SMART UNIT. This unit is an innovative, unique and patent pending two-way communication. Vercruysse explains, "The operator can set the working parameters and choose from different working modes. With a touchscreen interface, one can choose the standard operating modes and define the operating parameters (pressure, torque, etc.) and also receive feedback on the actual performance of the gripper. With this we have added a wonderful tool to our extensive range and can continue to serve our customers well."
