During InfraTech 2021, the pillars of meeting, knowledge transfer and innovation will take center stage. For the upcoming edition, January 12 - 15, 2021, you can visit InfraTech both physically and digitally.

Your safety comes first! The physical exhibition floor will have a modified layout completely set up to COVID-19 guidelines. We are also working with start times this edition, so that visitors will be dispersed. You can the map view on our website.
Matchmaking at InfraTech Network Platform
From December 10, you can meet exhibitors on the online platform based on your business interests and make both physical and digital appointments. In your personal account, you can keep track of connections and meetings with companies. It is also possible to keep a personal calendar with knowledge sessions you find interesting.
When you register, you will be given the option to participate digitally or physically in InfraTech 2021 Hybrid. By registering for the trade show, you are automatically also a visitor to the InfraTech Network Platform and a profile will be activated for you.
On the InfraTech Networking Platform you will soon be able to make connections and schedule both digital and physical appointments. A networking area has been set up on the physical exhibition floor. Appointments can also take place at the exhibitor's booth.
The physical exhibition floor will have a modified layout entirely focused on the 1.5-meter guideline. There is a broadening of the entire fair layout with wider aisles and a modified layout of the hybrid studios. We are working with start times this edition, so that visitors are dispersed and congestion is avoided. The number of visitors will be continuously monitored to ensure the 1.5-meter spacing on the total area of the halls. There are clear markings at the venue and public areas such as toilets will be extra cleaned.
In the Online InfraTech Network Platform, we have worked with our program partners to create a top of mind content program. During the four days of InfraTech, we will take viewers on a knowledge journey. Day one will focus on the theme 'connecting': what do market parties and clients need from each other to take a step forward? On day two we will look at the innovations in the market, on day three we will focus on implementing and doing, and we will close with action: How do we Move Forward!
Each morning there will be an opening and at the end of the day a closing by that day's InfraTech moderator. Each day there will be a morning and afternoon program full of inspiring knowledge sessions and networking opportunities during lunch. The full program will be available on the website soon. Topic: How to make BIM base Infra sector seamlessly 3D collaborate
The Vakgroep Ingenieursbureaus Bouwbedrijven (VIB) of Bouwend Nederland and the BIM Loket presented BIM basis Infra on May 25 this year. With these data exchange agreements, the sector is taking an important step towards better digital collaboration. Better utilization of digitization and computerization is an important 'booster' in enabling a leap in productivity. Seamless exchange of digital information between clients and contractors is essential here and accelerates the digitization of the infrastructure sector. This is only possible if all parties involved speak the same language.
Topic: Are we on track with greening the infrastructure sector
The goal of the Green Course is to work with the sector to accelerate the transition to zero emission mobile machinery/(construction) equipment. With concrete measures and products, we as a sector will contribute to the achievement of the objective of the Climate Agreement to achieve a CO2 reduction of 0.4 Mton in 2030 at the latest compared to 1990 for the mobile tools/(construction) equipment with a combustion engine that are used on or for a construction site. Also this edition there is a Trainee Case again, this time the trainees can participate digitally. The Trainee Case is organized by the trainees of the hosts of the fair: Municipality of Rotterdam and Rijkswaterstaat. During this case, trainees from different organizations will think along about a complex case. The goal is to create solutions that will actually be used in the future!
This year's case theme is: The city of the future. What does this city look like and what facets should you think of? Of course we are allowed to dream about how it could all be, but we want to challenge the trainees to make a plan about what tomorrow could already be. How can we make that dream as concrete as possible?
How do you Move Forward? With the Innovation Award, InfraTech stimulates innovative ideas in the field of building, maintaining, renovating and making infrastructure sustainable. These can be innovations in all kinds of areas, for example, waterways, railroads, cables and pipes, IT infrastructure, roads, land extensions, industrial complexes and heat transport pipelines. The number of entries for the Innovation Award continues to grow - even in this corona year. Whereas in 2019 there were 67 innovations competing for the final victory, this year no fewer than 79 clients, companies and partnerships submitted an innovation. The award will be presented at InfraTech on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
