For the construction and civil engineering sector, Pacton offers an attractive package of customer-specific options.
The engineers of Pacton Trailers are continuously working on the development of products. Reducing the weight even further, for example, is a continuous point of attention. As well as the application of high-quality (anti-slip) floors and optimal load securing, according to recognized certification.
To optimally control quality and planning, engineering and production take place entirely in our own factory in Ommen. Remarkably, the wide range of Pacton Trailers includes many own niches. This applies to both the Pacton brand and its own brands Floor and Kennis.
Pacton's Kennis crane trailers are used exclusively in the construction industry. However, trailers with open bodies and sliding pillar trailers are also frequently supplied by Pacton for transporting building materials. The recently developed Pacton inner loader - for the vertical transport of bulky, prefab concrete parts - is a current example of Pacton's innovative strength.
Crane trailers are produced under the Kennis brand name. These are fitted as standard with a weighted axle set and equipped with one or two steering axles for easy maneuvering on tight construction sites. There are two types of crane trailers: the chassis runner and the edge runner. The latter has a wider crane track, which makes the semi-trailer more stable when operating the crane. The crane trailers are offered up to 50 tons/meter. If required, lightweight versions can be produced for cranes up to and including 20 tons/meter. These account for nearly ten percent weight savings at comparable specifications.
Under the brand name Floor, Pacton Trailers produces special heavy-duty semi-trailers and trailers, aimed at niche markets within certain sectors. Thus, the Floor range includes (container) trailers, distribution trailers, (extendable) heavy-duty semi-low loaders and flat trailers and steered crane trailers.
Pacton is best known for its sliding tarpaulin trailers. These come in many variations, but always with a robust construction. The many options here also ensure a trailer that is maximally tailored to its use.
