They both have an extra sturdy frame and built-in generator and water tank. Dehaco's series of Tera water misters has been expanded to include the 60 GTX and the 60 GTM. The Tera 60 GTM is distinguished by its mobile nature, making it literally usable anywhere.
Tera water misters are used in demolition and renovation projects to prevent too much dust from being released into the environment. But they also come in handy in other places, such as in the post-extinguishing of fires to prevent the release of asbestos particles, in the transfer of bulk goods, in the recycling sector and as an odor suppressant in waste processing. Even protecting young fruit buds from frost is a possibility, as they know in the Betuwe. In all these cases, a mobile version can come in handy.
The Tera 60 GTM (which stands for Generator, Tank, Mobile) is quick and easy to deploy. With its unladen weight of just under 2,400 kg and its unbraked, two-axle agricultural chassis with drawbar, it can be carried simply as a trailer. It has two adjustable support legs for stable positioning. The frame is built for heavy loads. The integrated water tank is positioned low and equipped with sling baffles. This ensures a more stable position during road transport.
With its agricultural chassis, its own generator and water tank, the Tera 60 GTM can be used anywhere independently.
Both "all-in-one" versions can be used in places where there is no supply of electricity or water due to the built-in generator and water tank, although they can always be connected to the local water supply if required. The generator is a Dehaco Eco Power 15ME with an output of 16 kVA at 400 volts and it runs on diesel. The galvanized steel water tank has a capacity of 2,200 liters.
Water misters disperse a fine water mist, to which dust particles remain attached. The usual "nozzles," or spray heads, are very maintenance-sensitive because they clog up due to lime particles in the water. In order to be able to work in "tricky" places for long periods of time, it is therefore nice if the maintenance requirement is low. This is why the Tera water sprayers use the patented Demto-Rotor® spray head, in which limescale particles cannot settle.
This system has proven to be extremely reliable and it is even possible to set the droplet size in three modes: coarse, medium and fine.
The fan also has three modes to control the mist throw: Eco, Eco boost and Power boost. The fan is specially designed for the Tera series and fits perfectly to the cone. Special strips on the fan blades keep the noise level low during continuous operation. The spray range (the throw) is adjustable: in the Eco modes it is 45 and 55 meters, respectively, and in the Power boost even 60 meters. No high-pressure pump is required, which significantly reduces electricity consumption in both Eco modes (20 - 40%).
