Market leader in hydraulic foundation machines focuses on innovation

New developments are aimed at increasing the speed of hydraulic foundation machines while reducing emissions and noise. The manufacturer has recently presented a number of innovative products on the topic of vibration-free and low-noise foundations.

Dieseko Group is a manufacturer of PVE and ICE vibratory blocks, Bell Dredging Equipment and Woltman Piling & Drilling Rigs. "Vibration-free and low-noise foundations are really an issue anno 2021," begins Douwe Feenstra of Dieseko Group. "Our so-called 'development agenda' focuses on four pillars: reducing noise, reducing emissions (emissions), foundations with less vibration and condition monitoring of our machines for remote adjustment, optimization and providing quick help in case of failure. Innovation and development, on customer demand if required, is in our DNA." His colleague Marion van den Akker adds: "No, is not an answer with us. We try to think along with our customers so that they can carry out every project with our solutions. In terms of foundation knowledge, the Benelux is truly a global hotspot. After all, in that very small part of the world, which lies almost entirely below sea level, there is a great deal of knowledge. Our customers also contribute to make our products a little bit better every time."

The 90 VM is the largest variable moment vibratory block ever built, suitable for installing large tubular piles and a more compact alternative to the 200 M.

"One such industry-leading product is our noise screen," says Feenstra. "Think of it as a 'curtain' that is mounted around a vibrating block and significantly reduces noise production. We also recently introduced the clean Stage V power packs with stop/start function and condition monitoring. The system reduces service technicians' flying hours through early fault detection, optimizes performance and provides insight into emissions and consumption. Another innovation is the quatropiler, a new PVE sheet pile pressing machine. A machine that can install sheet piles statically, i.e. completely vibration-free. Safety is an important issue at Woltman. This is reflected in the high degree of stability of the machines, adapted platforms and a hydraulic securing of the mast. Furthermore, we have developed a tilting and rotating cabin that gives the operator a larger, and therefore safer, field of vision."

Other novelties at Dieseko Group include the Side Gripper, an excavator attachment that can grip and intrude profiles from the side. "Ideal for applying a profile at a limited working height, for example under a viaduct," says Van den Akker. "Totally unique is our 90 VM, the largest variable moment vibratory block ever built, suitable for applying large tubular piles and a more compact alternative to the 200 M. The big brother of the PVE RD 260 resonator - the 430 - has also been extensively tested and is ready for production. The same applies to Bell Dredging Equipment's new dredge submersible pump, equipped with two heads that rotate in opposite directions and can therefore be hung stably and freely in a crane. This pump can perfectly be used to pump out mooring piles or foundation tubes instead of the hitherto customary emptying. A new method to which we have already received many rave reviews."
