Since the end of 2022, Stoter Truck and Trailer from IJsselmuiden has been the importer of Schwarzmüller. The trailers of this Austrian brand distinguish themselves not only on the basis of quality and reliability, but also because of the customer-specific wishes that are custom-made. Schwarzmüller is one of the larger European trailer builders, with approximately 10,000 vehicles delivered each year, despite its specialism in building to customer specifications.

"But they just as easily supply a custom-made trailer outside the standard model. But ex-factory," knows Harmen Beens, sales consultant at Stoter. "Despite the high production, they don't turn their hand to customer-specific wishes. Want an 8-millimeter floor or a certain cubic capacity? No problem! In IJsselmuiden we have our own configuration program, so we can switch quickly with the factory. Long waiting times are unknown to them."

Proper configuration

In conversation with the customer, all the important points of a tipper are discussed, so that ultimately the right configuration is arrived at together with the customer. Since Stoter Transport has been working with Schwarzmüller trailers for years, those experiences can be taken to the customer, highlighting the strong points of this Austrian brand. Advantages in which Schwarzmüller stands out include a low own weight, a low center of gravity and the possibility of up to 18 tons of bulkhead pressure. Furthermore, the tipper lies firmly in the chamfered chassis, there is a strong stable construction, a long neck that allows the tipper to be close to the truck (length advantage) and during loading the tipper is quickly at driving level, which ensures that the weights can be read easily.

When the tippers arrive in the Netherlands from the factory, optional hydraulic multicaps are usually fitted. These multi hoods can be operated via a valve block, but it is also possible by means of a power pack with remote control. The multicaps come from a long-standing partner, so quality is guaranteed. By the way, you can also choose an electric Cremaro sail or a manual sail.

Schwarzmüller offers a sophisticated network of service centers in 21 European countries. Harmen: "Because we like to offer our customers a total solution, we service and repair all brands of trucks and trailers. Everything to help and keep the customer well on the road. We employ experienced mechanics and have sufficient in-house capacity to repair any defects or damage. Our warehouse also contains a wide range of parts. These include original parts as well as after-market truck and trailer parts. As a result, we rarely have to sell 'no'."
