Ahlmann Netherlands proudly looks back on a successful TKD. On an immense plot of some 2,000 m² - with three demo bins - more than thirty machines were on display, eight of which were in full action. At the stand the real Ahlmann feeling prevailed, where demonstrations are accompanied by Brabant conviviality and an attractive terrace for a snack and a drink.

During the Technische Kontakt Dagen, which took place for the first time in Sint-Oedenrode, the focus was on the versatility of Ahlmann, Mecalac and GreenJob machines. No expense was spared to emphasize the multifunctionality of these models, both in terms of deployment and equipment. From earthmoving to demolition, from paving to transfer and from forest management to green space maintenance. They are unique all-rounders, developed from the idea of being able to be used just that little bit better, more efficiently or more versatile.

"It was another exciting three days, which caused many happy faces due to the warm weather and an exuberant atmosphere," Jonieke van den Oord from Ahlmann Netherlands looks back on the largest active outdoor trade fair for construction and recycling machines in Western Europe, with a total area of no less than 250,000 m². "We were able to present our models well and catch up pleasantly with customers, machine operators, suppliers and other relations. All in all, we look back on a very successful TKD edition."
In a lively atmosphere and while enjoying ice cream against the scorching heat, the Ahlmann, Mecalac and GreenJob machines again showed their best side. Especially the demos with the electrically powered es1000 swing loader and the e12 multi-excavator attracted many visitors. It remains admirable how much work the compact models can do in such a small space. In a nice interplay, various machines showed their capabilities, such as the smallest Mecalac 6MCR loading the latest Revotruck from close range.

This 4×4 wheel dumper features a rotating cab, so that the driver always has optimum visibility of the bucket or, on the contrary, of the road, which significantly increases safety on the construction site. As with the MWR series with lowered center of gravity and the MCR line with special boom configuration and skid-steer loader-like undercarriage, the manufacturer thus manages to distinguish itself on the basis of functionality and versatility. The eMWR - a prototype electric mobile excavator - unfortunately did not come to TKD at the last minute.
That couldn't spoil the fun, as Ahlmann and Mecalac have been experiencing nice growth in recent years and now the product range has expanded considerably, with wheel loaders, swing loaders and excavators on tires and caterpillars as well as wheel dumpers, mini loaders and backhoe loaders (including the new Revo 990). In addition, four mid-size electric models are available, including the brand-new es900tele tele-swing loader.

Of the emission-free Mecalac e12, a GreenJob version for verge and ditch maintenance showed off at TKD as a first. A special feature is that the drive is fully electrically controlled, resulting in an extremely efficient, strong and quiet machine. The two-piece Herder boom realizes a reach of 9.5 meters including cutting basket. Since that too is electrically driven, for which an additional battery pack is available as an option, Ahlmann Netherlands thus delivers a 100% emission-free and future-proof solution.
