In addition to tipper trailers, Schwarzmüller Netherlands is now also focusing on selling low loaders in our country. With success, because recently a beautiful 3-axle low loader has been delivered to crane rental and transport company Jac v.d. Vegt & Zn from IJsselmuiden, among others.
Trailers from this Austrian brand are distinguished by customization. Schwarzmüller is one of the top six European trailer builders despite its specialty of "building to customer specifications" with roughly 10,000 vehicles delivered per year. "But they just as easily deliver an ex-factory customized trailer outside the standard range," knows sales consultant Harmen Beens. "Despite high production, they don't turn their hand to very customer-specific wishes, such as a custom neck, extra lighting or the placement of the stanchions and/or lashing eyes. We have our own configuration program and can therefore switch very quickly with the factory. Long waiting times are unknown to them." This is also the case with the low loader of Jac v.d. Vegt & Zn. In close consultation, all wishes were incorporated into an order and realized in the factory. This creates a tailor-made product, with which the customer can carry out the work properly.
When it comes to tippers, there are numerous options as well. Harmen: "The tippers we supply are all built to the customer's specifications. Thanks to an 18-ton kingpin, they can be loaded to 50 tons. Schwarzmüller further distinguishes itself by a low own weight, a high level of finishing, a low center of gravity, and during loading the tipper is quickly at driving level, so that the weights can be read easily. The chassis is loaded through and chamfered, so that the bucket lies ín the chassis. This ensures a strong and stable construction, even during unloading. Because the neck of the trailer is long and the kingpin is further out from the front, the tipper comes very close to the truck chassis. If you then also mount a forced steered trailing axle, you can get into the tightest places with this combination." Cover options include electric tarps, hand tarps or multi-tops with asphalt cover.
In addition to quality, the brand carries sustainability as a high priority. As more and more e-trucks appear on the road, Schwarzmüller is responding by building the lightest possible product. The Electric Edition was developed specifically for work in combination with an electric tractor. In addition to a favorable weight, several axles are liftable to reduce rolling resistance. "Customers not yet familiar with our trailers need not worry. Stoter Truck and Trailer, which Schwarzmüller Netherlands falls under, guarantees continuity," it sounds confident. "We employ experienced mechanics and have sufficient capacity to repair any defects or damage. Our warehouse holds a wide range of parts, both original and after-market truck and trailer parts. As a result, we rarely have to sell 'no'."
