Huge portfolio of trailers for special transport

Nooteboom Trading in Zeewolde was founded in 2008 by Igmar Nooteboom. As the fifth generation from a family of trailer builders, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree here either. He starts with the purchase and sale of used trailers. Trailed equipment for special transport soon became the specialty.

Over the years, Nooteboom Trading has focused on unburdening the customer. 'Your Load Suits Our Solution' is the credo. This includes loads up to 115 tons by road or modular, linkable and even powered vehicles for loads up to 1,500 tons. For the European market, Nooteboom Trading has a very diverse portfolio of used trailers for special transport. From flat (extendable) trailers, semi-low loaders and low loaders to modular axle sets with various attachments or SPMTs for the really heavy loads. 

From 2009, engineering and production of its own trailers was also started under the name RINO® trailers. Low-maintenance heavy duty trailers with rigid axles were designed for heavy use in Africa and the Middle East. For the European market, RINO trailers developed an (extendable) megatrailer with a very low own weight and high coupling pressure. Meanwhile, the RINO trailers program has expanded to include flat trailers, city trailers and ballast trailers with and without steering axles, as well as trailers in various weight classes.

Range of tipper trailers

Since 2017, Nooteboom Trading has also been providing the importership of Austrian trailer manufacturer Schwarzmüller in the Netherlands. Robust yet lower in weight than other brands. This lower own weight benefits the payload. In addition, the curtainsider trailers with and without coil gutter or sliding roof are easy to use. Schwarzmüller is also known for its extensive range of tipper trailers. Executed in steel for robust loads or aluminum for maximum loading capacity. Finally, a 3- and 4-axle ramp trailer for machine transport are also part of the portfolio. 

A short-term project or a one-time transport of a special cargo? Nooteboom Trading has the solution for that too. The modern rental fleet includes various low loaders, extendable flat trailers, heavy semi low loaders or mega trailers. The rental fleet can be rented from 1 day to any desired period.

Modernly equipped workshop

The growth of Nooteboom Trading was going well, until the company was hit by an all-destructive fire in early 2018. "A sad event," says owner Igmar Nooteboom. Positive as he is, he is not going to throw in the towel. Some 700 meters away in the Zeewolde industrial area, a suitable location is found for rebuilding. There is more space there for the trailer stock.

On site, Nooteboom Trading has a very modern equipped workshop, washing area and spray booth. All trailers are cleaned upon arrival, checked and provided with a competent inspection report. In case of sale or rental, trailers can be adjusted to customer-specific wishes in our own workshop.
