The Kohler gasoline engine with electronic fuel injection delivers 18.6 kW (25 hp) of power and thus saves on fuel, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions by an average of 25 percent compared to conventional gasoline engines. As the icing on the cake, choke cables are now a thing of the past, because from now on you start up your trencher just like your car.

The maximum digging depth is 121.9 cm, the digging width is 20.3 cm and the drilling diameter is 45.7 cm. Ground drive is hydrostatic. Speed forward is 5.6 km/h and reverse 4 km/h.

Excellent traction

The RTX250 is becoming popular for good reason. Its 87.6 cm width allows it to easily pass through narrow gates. At the same time, its high-mounted track design provides excellent traction in uneven and unfavorable ground conditions while minimizing soil disturbance. Normally, the operator walks directly behind or beside the machine and uses levers and steering wheel. However, the operator can also operate the machine via steering rods, which also provide additional leverage when working on difficult terrain. External bearing support protects the drive head when digging trenches in difficult conditions, which reduces overall operating costs. Maintenance is virtually "tool-free" quick and easy to perform.

Versatile skid steer

Compact, fast, powerful and highly maneuverable. That in a nutshell characterizes the skid steer or skid steer loader. It is the most versatile machine and this is due in part to the many attachments for numerous applications. Broadly speaking, these include picking up and moving materials, digging, drilling, sweeping, and so on.

The diesel-powered Vermeer S925TX mini skid-steer loader easily meets these characteristics. With an inclusive bucket weighing about 1570 kg and a length of almost 2.70 meters, it delivers an operational capacity of almost 420 kg at a maximum height of 214.6 cm, with the tipping point at just under 1200 kg. On rough terrain it gets away well thanks to its ground clearance of 15.2 cm.

Three motors

An interesting feature of the Vermeer S925TX skid-steer loader is the choice of three engines: a Kubota V1505 diesel with 18.6 kW (25 hp) of power and maximum torque of 93.6 Nm or with 26.1 kW (35 hp) of power and 92.2 Nm of torque and a gas-powered Kubota WG1605 with 29.9 kW (40 hp) of power and a torque of a whopping 120.7 Nm. Looking at the hydraulics, we see a dual system with a high flow for demanding attachments and a lower flow for optimal operator control.
