Shaker sieve is designed with bundled power

Good news comes from the corner of Herwijnen Machinery. Pronar has put the finishing touches to a brand new shaker sieve. It has now passed the testing phase and is ready to go into production. Interesting detail here: Herwijnen Machinery actively helped design the new compact powerhouse. We speak to Jimmy van Herwijnen about their input in the design process.

"With our many years of expertise in the field of shaker screens - after all, we are traditionally Sandvik distributors - we were asked at the table with Pronar at an early stage to give our input on the design of the new shaker screen. Bear in mind that most shaker screens are produced in Ireland or England and Pronar has to 'compete' against them. Because we have supported Pronar from the very beginning and embraced the brand from the technology behind it, we can say that this manufacturer is now well rooted in the Netherlands. We have always translated that trust into delivering on promises to the market and providing the best service imaginable. The result? Pronar is impossible to imagine the demolition site without!"

Perfect in every detail

Pronar responded to Herwijnen Machinery's wish list and requirements. "Down to the last detail, everything has been optimized," explains Jimmy van Herwijnen. "For example, on this new tedding sieve you come across a modern control panel instead of the usual levers." The cooperation between Pronar and Herwijnen Machinery is a true partnership, Jimmy concludes.

"We were one of their first dealers and are proud that Pronar is now doing well worldwide. We are even more proud of our involvement in the design of the new shaker sieve. I myself am a machine fanatic from the very beginning and want to know every machine we supply down to the last screw. There is a lot of knowledge in our company about the total package of crushers and screens, reason for Pronar to involve us as specialists in this process."

Small mobile crusher

Also very interesting is Pronar's small mobile crusher. A double-roller shredder called Pronar 2.75, with one big advantage: "The rotors are in a cassette, which can be changed on site within an hour and a half. There is a choice of four or five types of rotor, depending on the product to be broken. There are rotors for aluminum, wood, plastic, construction or demolition waste and rubble. A mobile crusher with which you therefore never have any surprises. It is very versatile."

Pronar's new jaw crusher has already been built, but according to Van Herwijnen, it will not be used much in the Netherlands. "It's a nice machine, but more for stone quarries. In the Netherlands we usually take the rotor crusher for rubble, because it has to be sieved to get a certificate on production. Here we mainly deal with recycling rubble." In time, Pronar will also come out with a heavy rotor crusher for recycling rubble.

Quality assured

Jimmy van Herwijnen once began selling two machines. By 2021, the company has sold as many as 26 machines. He says the reason for the success can be found in the fact that Herwijnen Machinery offers technically high quality products combined with top service. "Many clients come in to us on reference and are amazed at our speed of service and the large stock of parts we have on the shelf. You get honest and sincere advice from us and the last thing we will do is create false expectations."
