PRIMEUR! Electric Atlas for Gebr. Poppink

In response to the growing demand for emission-free work, Poppink from Reutum has purchased Atlas' first new electric mobile excavator. Under the supervision of the Atlas factory in Germany and in cooperation with AMT, Kemp Group has successfully converted a brand new Atlas 165W into an electric Atlas E165W. During the year, the second electric Atlas will also be delivered to Poppink.

The electric transformation has subtly changed the look of the machine, but significantly increased its potential for emission-free jobs from major contractors. The diesel engine has been replaced by an electric motor. The two lithium-ion batteries are part of the newly constructed counterweight. In addition, the machine retains its original stability and original swing radius! With an impressive energy content of 184 kWh each, the batteries offer the ability, at an average consumption of 35kWh, to work for up to 10 hours when fully charged!

The Atlas 165W mobile excavator comes standard with a modern cab and updated Climate Control. Inside the cab, everything else seems unchanged. The same control panel and joysticks, almost everything works the same. For rear visibility, as standard on every Atlas, there is a rearview camera.

The subcutaneous and software modifications were carried out by AMT in cooperation with Atlas. Thanks to the cooperation between the Atlas factory and AMT, this electric mobile excavator has also received the official CE mark.

How could it be otherwise than that Poppink is the first customer to commission an electric Atlas. These two new electric Atlases are added to the impressive Atlas machine park of the Poppink brothers!

Recently, Atlas' machines and new model type have been changed to more closely match the weights. As a result, the 150W has been changed to the 165W. So the type name of the E150W electric machines being converted from today will be changed to E165W.
