Electric Atlas 350MHE for Dieker Overslag

Dieker Overslag B.V. from Haghorst has recently taken into use, via Hans van Driel in Tiel, an electric Atlas 350MHE material handling machine. The Atlas 350MHE was delivered without undercarriage with tires but mounted on an existing tracked undercarriage. The limited width of the working area is the reason for this special solution. The all-electric Atlas makes no concessions compared to a conventional machine.

This Atlas 350MHE material handling machine is the first with a banana boom and has been built and delivered completely to the wishes and requirements of Dieker Overslag. In addition to modifying the hydraulics in connection with the conversion from mobile machine to tracked machine, Hans van Driel also made a number of other modifications. These include; extra working lights, extra camera on the articulated arm and a cable reel on the undercarriage which rolls the cable up and down at the correct speed while the machine is moving. The crawler undercarriage is specially adapted by Groeneveldt from Groot-Ammers to drive on the desired track width.
