New machines from Pronar are developed in close consultation with customers, Van Herwijnen knows. "The lines are short and that makes it possible for us to compete with Pronar against the large, mostly unwieldy organizations of our competitors with similar recycling machines." But it undoubtedly also has to do with the way Herwijnen Machinery operates. "We keep appointments, have one or more demo versions of almost every machine and pay a lot of attention to service and after-sales. We absolutely try to excel in this. Our demos are used throughout the Netherlands. Also at the upcoming demo days, visitors can see Pronar's machines."

At the demo days, Herwijnen Machinery will introduce Pronar's first 1-axis shredder, a popular recycling machine in the Netherlands. "Like the drum sieve, we have high expectations for this new machine that will help us gain market share also in this segment. In addition, we acquired Sandvik's importership last year. So in addition to used machines, people can also come to us for price interesting new machines."
