DUPORT develops 15-meter slurry injector

DUPORT develops 15-meter manure injector

Dutch machine manufacturer Duport from Dedemsvaart (O.) is coming out with a 15-meter wide All Track HD slurry injector. With this, the manufacturer is expanding its range upwards entirely in-house.

The new DW 15080 type is the bigger brother of the 12.3-meter variant. In addition to regular fertilizer work, where maximum capacity is required, the slurry injector is extremely suitable in combination with a tramline system.

5-piece frame ensures optimal soil tracking

The slurry injector will have the type designation DW 15080. (15 meters and 80 outlets) and folds up into five sections. The diameters of the cylinders are calculated so that the ground pressure is equal over the entire width. The unique construction of the slurry injector ensures optimum ground following even with large height differences. When turning on the headland, the slurry injector folds up in a V-shape so that the outer points do not touch the ground. This is done fully automatically on the basis of the lifting device of the tanker or self-propelled vehicle.

Duport's trusted fertilization results

The manure spreader is equipped with two Bomech Alrena V42 spreaders. The machine excels in high fertilizer quality combined with low maintenance costs. Duport is known for its thick discs of 5 mm (center flat cutting disc) and 8 mm (convex discs). This creates a very high tool life of the machine. Because of the 3-piece disc, the maintenance costs of Duport slurry injectors are low. The flat disc wears out sooner than the convex disc and, as a result, one usually only needs to replace the flat cutting disc.

No automatic grease lubrication system required

The discs are equipped with maintenance-free bearings, which no longer require lubrication. An additional seal prevents entry of dirt and keeps lubricant inside.

Each outlet is closed and opened hydraulically. The reason for hydraulic valves, is that mechanical valves do not open when fertilizing grain land because of the low writing pressure. Duport's 15-meter manure injector is mechanically suspended and features walk-behind steering elements. The disc spacing is 18.75 cm (15 meters is a multiple of 18.75 cm) which also allows high doses to be injected neatly into the soil.

The 15-meter manure injector is already available. Images attached are of the prototype machine.
