International aerial work platform exhibition in MECC Maastricht

Six months before the start of the tenth edition of APEX, the international trade fair in the field of mobile work platforms is already completely sold out. Over 10% more booth space has been sold for the 2020 edition than the 2017 show.

APEX will celebrate its 10th edition in 2020 with a return to Maastricht, the city where the exhibition was held for the first time in 1996.

In particular, the return to the MECC in Maastricht - after two editions at the RAI in Amsterdam - has resulted in a significant enlargement of the outdoor area. Here in June, more exhibitors will present themselves on larger stands than before.

From June 9 to 11, more than 103 exhibitors both inside and outside the MECC will present all kinds of aerial work platforms, telehandlers, work elevators, scissor elevators, vertical work platforms and other high-quality scaffolding equipment.

In addition to the presence of virtually all the top manufacturers from Europe and the U.S., the growing influence of Chinese suppliers is also abundantly clear, with more than 15 exhibitors.

Also notable this year is the number of exhibitors specializing in battery technology as a result of the increased interest in non-diesel power sources in the field of mobile aerial work platforms.

APEX 2020 is organized by BV I.P.I. of Goor and the KHL Group of England. The B2B exhibition is sponsored by the well-known trade magazine Access International Magazine and supported by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF).

Tony Kenter, Managing Director of BV I.P.I.: "We are delighted that APEX sold out well in advance, especially since we had more exhibition space available this year. Proven to be a valued meeting place for the global aerial platform industry, we are delighted that in addition to platform manufacturers, exhibitors include component suppliers and software specialists."

Simultaneously with APEX, the annual congress of the European Rental Association as well as the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) will once again be held at the MECC. This means that managers of all major rental companies from Europe will be present in Maastricht.
